I'm currently a Chick in hair transition as well. Earlier this year, I "big chopped" for the umpteenth time and disposed of all of my relaxed ends. I officially started over on July 1st. After a short stint in self reflection, I recognized that I have a hair styling pattern. In January, I get a bold hair cut, by March I'm longing for long hair again, so I decide to grow it out. But then I have a moment, 'cause I don't think I'm handling the grow out stage well (I start looking like "who shot John" about the head and then I cut it again.
Well this year, I thought I'd try something a little new and use wigs to make it through the grow out stage. Suffice it to say, it was bit tough during the summer, "real talk" it was HOT! But now the cooler weather is here. YAY! And I've found this great company called Fingercomber. They have answered a naturalista's prayers by creatiing protective (wigs) styling for the naturalista. They call it "Afro Glam" love that term. Essentially, their wigs look and feel like black textured natural or pressed hair. Now we're getting somewhere. The styles are essential what I'd like my hair to look like one day. Simply Gorgeous!. I'll be ordering one soon. I'll keep you posted.
Peace, love and Happy Hair,
